I really like listening to Podcasts.

And so, on the day Google announced they are going to eliminate their dedicated Podcast site, I furiously decided to code my way to podcast freedom.

This set off a slow-moving effort to build a straightforward service - support open protocol, website player, clear operating model, no surprises. The first step was connecting it to other products - specifically any gPodder.net-compatible client.

This is a donation-supported service, not a free one. Running and maintaining it takes time and money. After two and a half years, I'll add patience to that.

Esseentially, A decentralized ecosystem is the ingredient to ensure a thriving podcasts community.
