I really like listening to Podcasts.

And so, on the day Google announced they are going to eliminate their dedicated Podcast site, I furiously decided to code my way to podcast freedom.

This has triggered a slow building process to establish a transparent open service. Open does not mean free as it cannot be servicing at no cost (things cost money, you know) but it would be as transparent and open as possible.

The first obvious step is to connect it to other open products in the ecosystem, specifically any gPodder.net supporting client.

Essentially, a decentralized ecosystem is the ingredient to ensure a thriving podcasts community where creators and listeners can thrive.
